Recognition of prior learning: we supported the higher education sector in Scotland in the recognition of learners' prior formal, informal and non-formal learning, by working closely with practitioners and learning from both national and international practice. We developed the National Framework for Recognising Prior Learning for Higher Education for Scotland's higher education institutions.
Flexible Curriculum: as part of the Developing and Supporting the Curriculum Enhancement Theme work we developed a toolkit to help course and programme teams consider approaches to flexible curriculum design.
Work-based learning: following on from the Employability Enhancement Theme, we supported the higher education sector in the development and enhancement of work-based learning. We also produced an online guidebook to work-based learning, Making it work: a guidebook exploring work-based learning.
Reflective learning: an archive of past work QAA Scotland carried out on Personal Development Planning, including the work carried out by colleagues by colleagues from the University of Dundee to develop the Personal Development Planning Toolkit.
