Scottish Higher Education Developers’ Learning Objects and Distributed Services (SHEDLOADS).
The SHEDLOADS project set out to facilitate cross-institutional collaboration in the area of staff development, as an important example of flexible delivery, building on the existing network of the Scottish Higher Education Developers within Universities Scotland. Tthe project report provides a critical, reflective account of the process as a ' proof of concept'. One of the main practical outcomes is a pilot web-site, where a limited number of examples of sub-programme level resources are located as a pool of reusable learning objects. The website may be accessed at www.shedloads.org.uk.
