What are Scotland’s higher education institutions doing with learning analytics?

Date: October 30 - 2018

Our Learning Analytics collaborative cluster has completed its first year of activity. The cluster forms part of our current Enhancement Theme work and is being led by the University of Strathclyde with contributions from 13 other institutions.

The following reports are now available:

  • a short overview of the project
  • how learning analytics is being implemented in the Scottish higher education sector
  • the different categories used to identify students in one Scottish higher education institution.

Future outputs from the cluster will include a resource to help share and promote practice and a report on research into student engagement with learning analytics.

Collaborative cluster projects enable Scottish institutions to work together on areas of shared interest that will benefit the whole sector. Find out more about the six collaborative clusters running in 2018-19.
