New project to support programme leaders launched

Date: November 6 - 2018

Our new Enhancing Programme Leadership cluster has launched. The cluster will support programme leaders to engage with evidence which enhances their programmes. It is being co-led by Edinburgh Napier University and Glasgow Caledonian University, who will bring together thinking and learning from across the sector.

A workshop to finalise the plans took place on 30 October and was well attended by colleagues from a variety of organisations. Sam Ellis of Glasgow Caledonian University updated the group on some of the key challenges facing programme leaders. Plans for the cluster in 2018-19 include:

  • running more workshops
  • producing a number of discussion papers
  • building resources which will support programme leaders to use evidence to enhance the experience of their students.
