Student mental wellbeing webinar

Date: June 2 - 2020

Following on from the first very successful event in January, our Student Mental Wellbeing collaborative cluster held its second professional development event on the 21 May,

190 delegates participated in a webinar, which featured a thought-provoking and highly informative presentation from Dr Gareth Hughes, Psychotherapist and Research Lead for Student Wellbeing at the University of Derby.

Although we are managing very challenging times, Gareth offered us ‘reasons to be cheerful’ and great practical advice on supporting our students.

Our Wakelet captures the key points from the session.  You can also view the webinar on the project web page.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the event. The future work of the collaborative cluster will be further informed by the lively and insightful exchanges among participants.

The work of the cluster is aimed at increasing staff capability to create teaching and learning environments that are inclusive and promote student mental wellbeing.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Future webinars are planned to take place before the end of July and we will let you know about these as soon as possible.
