Wednesday 11 October 2023, 10:00-12.30 BST

West Lothian College

In June, QAA received the commission from the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) to lead on the development of Scottish tertiary quality review and enhancement arrangements for our colleges and universities. The new quality arrangements will begin in academic year 2024-25 as part of SFC’s Tertiary Quality Project.

In September and October, QAA Scotland are inviting key sector staff and students from our colleges, universities and sector agencies to find out more about the commission. Join us to shape and influence the work with our key delivery partners Education Scotland, the College Development Network and sparqs (student partnerships in quality Scotland).

Session 2 will allow colleagues to contribute to the development of the next external review method by engaging in key aspects of the work including considering possible models, ways of working and review planning. You should register separately for session 1 and session 3.

Who should attend?

Attendance is open to all, with sessions likely to be of particular interest to student sabbatical officers; vice principals and/or associate principals or equivalent with responsibility for the curriculum, learning and teaching, and quality assurance and enhancement; heads of quality/quality leads/managers and curriculum managers, or others with an interest in quality assurance.
