Scottish higher education Enhancement Themes aim to enhance the student learning experience through identifying specific areas for development.

Enhancement Themes encourage academic and support staff, and students collectively to share current good practice and to generate ideas and models for innovation in learning and teaching.

The work of the Enhancement Themes is planned and directed by the Scottish Higher Education Enhancement Committee (SHEEC).

An important part of this work is the annual Enhancement Themes conference. Papers from past conferences and details of future conferences can be found here.
