In year one of the Resilient Learning Communities Enhancement Theme, our student-led project Higher Education: More than a Degree explored issues and themes relevant to how higher education institutions and students’ associations/unions have recreated student communities in an online environment during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020.

Extra-curricular communities refers to communities outwith a student’s normal course of study and can include student societies and the wider student experience. Explore examples of extracurricular communities in our case studies.
