Highlights from the Student Mental Wellbeing event on 23 January 2020

Date: February 6 - 2020

Our Student Mental Wellbeing collaborative cluster held its first event on the 23 January 2020.

Glasgow Caledonian University hosted around 90 delegates from across Scotland with considerable interest among staff and students. The day provoked much thought and discussion with presentations from colleagues representing Scottish institutions and a stimulating presentation from a University of Derby colleague, Dr Gareth Hughes. In the afternoon, event attendees took part in two interactive workshop sessions.

Our Wakelet provides an overview of the days events.

The work of the cluster is aimed at increasing staff capability to create teaching and learning environments that are inclusive and promote student mental wellbeing.

Upcoming event

A second event will take place on the 23 April 2020 at the University of Stirling.
